Shield Liger Walk Animation

Description

Took out that model again (unfinished model, hopefully I get it done soon) and worked a bit on the walk animation. One interesting aspect of this model is to use "Full Body Feedback", which is something particular I use in my game engine and game project (this model is not part of it). Full Body Feedback simply means that you have an actual in-game body and not a "Floating Weapon" or the pseudo-hacks trying to simulate a body. This tech requires special animations to work properly and proper game code.

Did a quick low-quality render with the high-polygon model as otherwise it takes ages to render. A high quality render of the model is around too (see link section). Needs some fixing on the front leg (still some snapping going on) but otherwise it's not bad.

NOTE: I used here a basic Full Body Feedback animation on the pilot (without the Full Body Mesh though as the model is in another file). This way you get more the feeling of really having such a mecha under your control. Something I'm missing on mecha based games. Furthermore I came across many Zoids games but they are either (tactical)RPG or 3rd person (chase camera) type games with crappy controls. No game has an actual in-game view of a cockpit which I think would be very interesting. I'll once do a prototype with this just to see how it works out but not a full project as I don't have license rights for this franchise.
