Description
A long time ago I started this project for exercising high polygon modeling. It then got stuck since the reference images did not show a lot of information so I could not continue. In the mean time I found better images and somebody gave me a PDF scan of the manual of the construction kit this guy is based upon. Using this information I could then continue.
What happened since the last time is the addition of the entire hind legs, the tail and parts of the butt area. Missing now the body part as well as some appendixes ( weapon racks etc. ).
You can find a rotation view of the model before the changes here: 3D Shield Liger Rotation View. Also there can be found a test run with an early low-poly version of the old model with a little bit of skin work here: 3D Shield Liger IGDE Test.
Hopefully I can finish this guy sometimes soon so I can tick it off.
